Learning German Basics
Is German a difficult language to learn?
How to learn German fast?
There are no quick fixes; try immersing yourself in the German language. Take regular lessons and revise routinely. Acquire vocabulary, making it a habit from the start to learn the genders of nouns and the flexion of verbs. Read, watch, speak and listen to as much German as possible. Progress can be measured by taking exams.
Is German grammar hard to learn?
Grammar is part of learning German as a foreign language. The grammar basics do not differ significantly from those of other Indo-European languages, with cases, syntax, and flexion all being part of learning German. In our experience, the key is to learn vocabulary, and the grammar will fall into place.

Lessons and scheduling
When can I start with my lessons or course? You can begin any time throughout the year.
Where do lessons and courses take place? At your workplace, office or home in London. If you would rather have lessons at our office, we can arrange that as well.
When are lessons available? Mondays to Fridays from 7 am to 8 pm and at weekends from 9 am – 5 pm. Lesson timings are flexible from week to week to fit in with your schedule.
How many lessons do I need to take every week? We recommend taking lessons twice a week with sufficient time for revision between lessons.
Tutors and teaching approach
Who conducts the lessons? One dedicated German tutor is assigned to you.
Does the tutor speak English? Our Tutors are all native German speakers and fluent in English.
Are lessons conducted in German only? That depends on your level of German. If you are at a lower intermediate level, we will conduct lessons only in German. Beginners find it beneficial if our tutors explain some aspects in English. But the choice is yours.
What type of course material do I need? We provide all course material except dictionaries. Learners looking to pass the European Reference Framework for Languages exam (A1, A2, B1, etc.) will need to buy a course book, which we can advise you on.
Do I need a dictionary for my language studies? We recommend a conventional dictionary in addition to online or AI tools. Once we have assessed your German, we can recommend a suitable dictionary.
What does the service include? An assessment of your German language skills, a tailored learning program, tuition, course material, homework and a constant review of your skill level.
