Q: Where do lessons and courses take place?
A: On-site at your place of work or at your home or any other suitable place of your choice in London.
Q: When are lessons available?
A: Daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Q: How many lessons do I need to take every week?
A: That is entirely up to you. However, we do recommend that you do have sufficient time for revision between lessons.
Q: Who gives the lessons?
A: One dedicated private German tutor assigned to you.
Q: Does the tutor speak English?
A: Our Tutors are native German speakers and are also fluent in English.
Q: Are lessons conducted in German only?
A: That depends on your level of German. If you are proficient, then we will conduct lessons in German. Beginners find it beneficial if the Grammar is explained in English. But the choice is yours.
Q: What German dialect do you teach?
A: We teach Hochdeutsch (High German) which is widely understood in all German speaking countries.
Q: What course material do I need?
A: None, we provide our own course material, except dictionaries. Some learners chose to buy additional course material.
Q: Which dictionary do I need to buy?
A: Once we have assessed your German, we can recommend a suitable dictionary to you.
Q: What does the service include?
A: An assessment of your German language skills, a tailored learning program, tuition, course material, homework and a constant review of your skill level.
Q: How long do lessons last?
A: Our experience has shown that two hours is an optimal length for short lessons. Intensive German courses last from seven to thirty-five hours spread over one to five days.
Q: What about the tutor's travel charges?
A: Travel charges do not apply for lessons taken in blocks of two hours or more, or for intensive courses. If you book one hour lessons, then we will charge for the travel time to and from your destination at the applicable hourly charge rate.
Q: How do I pay?
A: By BACS, cash, cheque, credit or debit card
Q: When do I pay?
A: Full payment must reach us at least 48 hours in advance to confirm a lesson or course.
Q: What if I have to cancel a lesson?
A: That is no problem at all. Flexibility is important. However, if you cancel a lesson 48 hours or less before the start, then we will charge you for the full lesson or course.
